Wall Preparation | Is my wall ready for wall graphics?
The most important thing to know is that wall- graphic vinyl does not adhere to painted surfaces as reliably as it once did. The cause is the chemical formulas of modern low VOC paints in use today. However, there is a solution. The successful installation of wall graphics is good preparation. We use and recommend Viponds Wall Prep prior to the application of wall graphic vinyl. Free of solvents, it is specially designed to avert adhesion failures. Viponds is available for sale upon request. Alternativly, we do offer a high tack media solution. However we recomend that an experienced installer is used to mount the graphics onto the wall using this media.

Artwork Check List
Before supplying artwork please make sure you have done the following
- 10mm bleed on all sides
- Convert all text to outlines
- No trim, crop or registration marks
- Embed all images and elements
- Bitmap images no less than 150 DPI at 100% scale
- Artwork supplied as a PDF
- All files to be supplied in CMYK
- Set black as C – 0%, M – 0%, Y – 0%, K – 100%

Why do you laminate wall graphics?
We always laminate our wall graphics with a matt lamination. It is a protective layer of media which protects your sign from scuffing, UV damage and fading. This will increase the life of your signage and keep your wall graphic bright and fresh as long as possible.
What are the suitable applications for wall graphics?
Our custom wall graphics are suitable for internal walls. They are perfect for creating exciting images for wall murals, transforming retail and exhibition, office and corporate spaces.
Are wall graphics suitable for outdoor use?
No, Wall Graphics are suitable for indoor use. If you require graphics for external walls please see our Stickers and Decals page for more details.
Do I need to pick up or do you deliver?
You can pick up from our premises in Brisbane or we can arrange delivery Australia wide.
Do you install signage?
Yes, QA Signs is a full-service signage company based in Brisbane. You can be confident of the quality of our installation. QA Signs is a QBCC registered builder, fully licensed, experienced, and insured to manufacture and install all types of signage. We are experts at installing signage safely and proficiently. How do I pay?
You can pay online. Our invoices have a pay now button on them that allows you to pay that invoice online.
We also accept bank deposits (our bank details are on the invoice)
Do you give trade discounts?

What is the artwork surcharge?
The artwork surcharge is a small artwork handling fee for setting up the artwork ready for production in our factory.
We do not charge a surcharge for the first artwork.
Only each additional artwork will have a small charge to cover the extra set up costs.
(A double-sided sign with different designs on the front and back is considered one artwork)
Can I supply my own artwork?
Yes, you can supply your own print ready artwork.
